Project Overview

For King & I, a restaurant with locations in Manchester and West Hartford, Connecticut, BAI Media Design delivered comprehensive branding, graphic design, professional printing, custom signage, and website development services to establish a cohesive and recognizable brand presence across both physical locations and digital platforms.

The project involved creating a complete visual identity that connects the restaurant’s exterior signage, printed marketing materials, interior graphics, and online presence into one consistent brand experience.

From initial creative concepts to final production, installation, and website development, I managed multiple aspects of the project to ensure that each element reflected King & I’s identity while maintaining professional quality and consistency across both locations.

Logo Design & Brand Identity

The project began with the creation of a custom logo and brand identity, establishing a distinctive visual foundation for King & I.

The logo was designed to represent the restaurant’s character while providing a recognizable branding element that could be consistently applied across building signage, business cards, menus, wall posters, and the website.

Careful attention was given to typography, color coordination, composition, and visual consistency to create a professional identity suitable for both print and digital applications.

Exterior Building Signage — Manchester & West Hartford

A major component of the project involved the design, fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom main entrance building signs for both restaurant locations.

Each sign was developed to prominently display the King & I name and branding while complementing the appearance of its respective building.

I managed the entire signage process, from initial design and production preparation to fabrication, assembly, and professional installation.

The completed exterior signs provide both locations with a consistent storefront identity, helping strengthen brand recognition and making the restaurants more recognizable to customers.

Business Card Design & Printing

Building upon the restaurant’s brand identity, I designed and printed professional business cards incorporating the King & I logo, contact information, and coordinated visual elements.

Each card was carefully developed with attention to typography, layout, color selection, and readability, creating a polished presentation that reinforces the restaurant’s professional image.

Takeout & Dine-In Menu Design

I designed and printed both the takeout and dine-in menus, developing attractive, well-organized layouts that showcase the restaurant’s food offerings while providing customers with an easy and enjoyable browsing experience.

The menus incorporated consistent branding, readable typography, carefully arranged content, and balanced visual elements to ensure a cohesive presentation across both formats.
